To Whom It May Concern:
Over the last 6 months I have had
the opportunity to work with Hank Roeters in the purchase of my new
townhouse in Orland Park, and the sale of my townhouse in Downers
Grove. During this time, I was allowed the privilege of seeing a
professional doing his job in some difficult situations. We were
constantly given the insight to sellers and their whims, while we
were guided to the end result of finding a match to our needs in a
new townhouse.
The process was not an easy one,
and through the entire ordeal, Hank was in control of the situation.
He provided assistance in referring a quality home inspection
professional, who did an excellent job, at a fair price. He worked
hard to advise us about the market for the area, and what may prove
to be a successful bid for the house that we eventually purchased.
His knowledge of the bidding and counter-bidding process was an
experience that I probably will not need to use again, but it was
comforting to know that Hank was in our corner, and not on the other
side.
When it came time to sell our
Downers Grove Townhouse, Hank did his subdivision homework. We sat
down, and with the knowledge of the market, and in particular, our
townhouse, we arrived at a fair selling price. Knowing that the
townhouse we were selling was priced properly is always a large
question that will not be answered until offers start to be made.
Some of the initial offers were “low ball” offers; a few weren’t
even worth a counter offer. We were totally satisfied when we
received a full price offer without any contingencies. We accepted
the offer and closed 6 weeks later. From the day we listed our home
with Hank, until the day we closed, was a matter of only 68 days.
The tools that Hank’s Company has
are incredible, but the additional attention that Hank places on
items such as announcements of our new address, complete with a
picture of the house, are extraordinary. All of our important
documents regarding the purchase of the new home were given to us,
both in paper and on a CD, as were the similar items for the sale of
the Downers Grove Property.
You always have some reservations
when working with a friend in a business environment. I can truly
say that Hank proved that when your friend is a professional, you
would be treated as a client first.
